My Mission

I believe that creativity is more than just a form of expression — it’s a powerful tool for stress relief, mental clarity, and team connection that should be accessible for everyone especially in the work environment.

Textile Painting Ilinca founder of PaintNow

PaintNow started with a pause.

After working in the corporate world, I found myself in a place many professionals eventually reach: laid off, burnt out, and unsure what to do next. Instead of jumping straight into the next thing, I returned to something I had always done whenever I needed to slow down: painting. It had long been my way to cope with stress and reconnect with myself after work. But during that pause, it became more than just a personal outlet, it became my path forward.

I realized that art didn’t just help me heal — it helped me connect.

“What if more teams had access to this kind of space — to breathe, create, and connect together? What if, just for once, instead of picking up a laptop, they could pick up a paintbrush?”

As an introvert, I also knew how most team events and offsites had always felt to me: overstimulating, performative, and rarely restorative. I wanted to create something different and fill a gap I always felt into the workplace: experiences that felt calm, creative, and genuinely meaningful for everyone, not just the loudest voices in the room. By that time, I had already finished my training as a certified art and creativity coach therapist and sound healing facilitator. That’s how PaintNow was born: a way to bring mindful, creative experiences into the workplace. Not just to help teams perform better — but to help them feel better through creativity, together.
